About

Chloe Jhangiani

People describe me as warm, creative, grounded and direct. You will feel supported for who you are and nudged to grow. I will work with you to determine your goals and will use multiple methodologies to do so.

I work in a relational way, incorporating mindfulness, and art into my therapeutic work. I use EMDR and IFS to help you heal old wounds that are getting the way of health and the forward momentum that you wish for.

Experience

My Experience

I received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Smith College School for Work in 2013 and continued offering counseling in various settings. I have worked in an HIV Clinic, at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, and in elementary, middle and high schools.

In 2015, I started doing family therapy because when one member of a family is suffering, it is often about family dynamics and communication rather than one person being the "problem".

In 2021 I became trained (level three) in attachment focused EMDR to help people heal past hurts.

I am a parent and am familiar with the challenges of navigating a busy life while staying present for a young child.

I am a lover of nature, music, and visual arts and infuse my love for these things into my work. I am a martial artist and weave mediation and lessons from training into my work.
